Job description

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Sales Consultant with experience in client consultations and a strong ability to convert leads into clients. This is a sales-first role where your primary responsibility will be engaging with prospective clients, understanding their legal needs, and guiding them toward retaining our legal professionals. While legal experience (especially in family law or immigration) is a plus, your ability to sell legal services and build rapport with clients is the most critical factor for success in this position.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES YOU TO WORK WEST COAST HOURS OR WEEKEND SHIFTS, REGARDLESS OF YOUR LOCATION.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultations: Conduct initial phone and video consultations with prospective clients to understand their family or immigration law needs and assess case viability.
  • Sales & Lead Conversion: Use strong communication and persuasion skills to convert leads into paying clients, clearly articulating our company’s value and ensuring clients feel heard and supported.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain follow-ups with potential clients who need additional time or information before making a decision.
  • Collaboration: Work with attorneys and support staff to ensure smooth case intake and proper legal guidance.
  • Legal Understanding (Preferred but Not Required): A basic understanding of family law (divorce, custody) and immigration law is helpful, but your ability to sell legal services is the priority.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all sales practices comply with legal industry standards and ethical requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales or client-facing role, preferably in a legal or professional services setting.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex legal services in a way that is clear, compassionate, and persuasive.
  • Tech-Savvy & Organized: Proficiency in communication and case management tools such as Slack and CRM software.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to various client schedules, meet with clients remotely, and handle multiple consultations per week.
  • Remote Work Capability: This is a fully remote role.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00-20.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 24-48 hours per week

Benefits:
