Job summary

Arnold & Porter is seeking a Legal Research Training Analyst for the West Coast-based location with remote or hybrid options. The role blends expert legal research with building a robust training program for attorneys and staff, including on-demand content and intranet resources.

Ideal candidates hold an MLS/MLIS from an accredited program and have 3+ years in legal research settings, plus experience designing trainings and creating engaging instructional content.

Qualifications

MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program.
At least 3 years of professional law firm research experience.
Experience with Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, or HeinOnline.
Experience designing and coordinating training programs.
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
Strong client service orientation and relationship-building.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Respond to legal, business, and competitive intelligence research requests using legal resources.
Conduct sophisticated legal research across practice areas and jurisdictions.
