Job summary
Fredrikson & Byron seeks a Research Librarian to join the Research & Knowledge Management team, delivering high‑impact legal and business research to attorneys and staff. You will use leading information resources and AI-enabled tools such as Westlaw Deep Research, CoCounsel, and Harvey, guiding others in responsible use.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree strongly preferred.
- Three to five years of experience providing legal and business research support and training.
- Proficiency with a broad range of legal, regulatory, company, and business intelligence resources.
- Hands-on experience with legal and enterprise AI platforms and prompt engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and business research of varying complexity and synthesize findings into clear, well-supported responses.
- Utilize AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency while validating outputs.
- Provide AI-assisted research training and best-practice guidance to attorneys and staff.
- Manage research requests through the ticketing system and deliver customized reports.
- Develop and deliver research training and knowledge management materials.
