Job summary

RRD is hiring a detail-oriented editor to proofread legal documents and ensure flawless language. You will review complex texts, verify cross-references, and apply Chicago/Bluebook style guidelines. A background in English or journalism is preferred, with strong command of English grammar and deadlines. Must be able to commute to Phoenix, Arizona.

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Training: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM for six weeks. Pay: $17.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English/Journalism or 1 year of legal editing experience preferred.
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation.
• Experience with legal style guides and proofreading marks.

Responsibilities

• Proofread complex legal documents for grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation.
• Ensure accuracy by comparing documents against originals.
• Review references, terms, and authorities for consistency and style.
• Apply established proofreading marks and follow policies.
