Stanford Law School's Administrative Support Team is seeking a full-time Legal Project Coordinator to support the Three Strikes Project, a national criminal legal reform initiative based at Stanford Law School.

The role involves coordinating research, litigation support, scheduling, communications with clients and partners, and assisting with policy advocacy efforts. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with three years of administrative experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and able to take ownership of projects.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to drive long distances.
• Willingness to learn Westlaw and Stanford systems including Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with Project clients via phone and written correspondence.
• Address inquiries from clients, attorneys, and the community effectively.
• Serve as a resource on policies and procedures.
• Assist with litigation support in state and federal courts, including preparing pleadings and formatting documents per court rules.
• Coordinate conferences, seminars, and events, including vendor liaison and logistics.
• Oversee the electronic filing system.
• Plan and manage calendars, resolve scheduling conflicts, and track court deadlines.
• Handle routine financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Draft and produce routine communications and arrange travel per policies.
• Manage office supplies and equipment and obtain vendor quotes.
• Contribute to Project communications, website, and social media management.
• Monitor project scope and report concerns to the Director.
• Compile data and generate reports and metrics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
