  • Experience with federal and state court filing systems; PACER knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience using legal timekeeping and billing software.
  • Familiarity with electronic workflow and document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues during high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, format, and index legal documents.
  • Prepare and assist with state and federal court filings.

We are seeking a Legal Professional Assistant (LPA) to provide administrative support to attorneys in our Atlanta office.


This position requires a regular schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day). Additional hours, including overtime, may be required to meet business needs. This is a full-time, in-office position.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Prepare, format, and index legal documents.

  • Prepare and assist with state and federal court filings.

  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and track deadlines, hearings, mediations, and other time-sensitive matters.

  • Maintain and update client and contact information.

  • Assist with new client intake and onboarding processes.

  • Organize and maintain electronic files and records.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and related logistics.

  • Provide general administrative support and perform additional duties as assigned.
