Job summary

Cascade Asset Management Company in the Seattle area seeks a Legal Operations Analyst to design and enhance systems supporting legal operations, with a focus on data integrity, analytics, automation, generative AI, and process optimization.

You will bridge legal and technical domains, manage workflows, and collaborate with legal, technology, and investment operations teams to improve efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in a relevant field (e.g. pre-law, business analytics, computer science, or similar)
• Three to six years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, compliance operations, or a comparable analytical role with direct exposure to legal or compliance workflows
• Strong Power BI skills including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design; strong Excel skills and familiarity with Smartsheet; SQL and Power Apps are a plus
• Experience with legal tools such as GC AI, Harvey, Legora, CoCounsel, or comparable is a plus
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and practical understanding of where these tools succeed or fail
• Familiarity with data security, information governance, and compliance considerations for AI and legal tech
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills; ability to work with complex data and systems
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills suitable for leadership demonstrations and training

Responsibilities

• Data & Reporting: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting for legal, compliance, and risk data
• Legal Tech Systems: Oversee systems for legal data/workflows including knowledge management, trade support, regulatory compliance, vendor contracts, enterprise risk management, and more
• Process Optimization & Automation: Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable tech-enabled solutions; own workflows
• Enterprise Risk: Maintain dynamic risk assessment frameworks and tools for annual reviews and leadership reports
• AI Exploration & Implementation: Research and evaluate AI tools; design and implement adoption plans; maintain AI capabilities and prompts
• Training & Adoption: Drive adoption of legal tech and AI through demos and guides, track outcomes
• Project Management: Participate in and manage legal and cross-department projects
