Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to build the operational backbone of our legal function as we scale. You will own cap table management, contract systems, insurance, and vendor coordination, enabling the legal team to move fast without sacrificing rigor.

You will work closely with the General Counsel and cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and business teams, shaping systems and processes that keep our legal function running smoothly in a fast-growing, hard-tech company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in legal operations or a similar role.
• Hands-on cap table management with Carta or Pulley.
• Experience drafting NDAs and commercial agreements.
• Experience with entity management across jurisdictions.
• Experience managing corporate insurance programs.
• Experience implementing CMS/CLM systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cap table management and equity issuances.
• Draft and manage NDAs and routine vendor agreements.
• Own entity management and housekeeping for subsidiaries.
• Manage corporate insurance programs and renewals.
• Lead CMS/CLM implementation and user training.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and SOPs for scalability.
• Track regulatory calendars and export control support.
• Support board and stockholder matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
