Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to build the operational backbone of our legal function as we scale. You will own cap table management, contract systems, insurance programs, and vendor coordination, enabling the legal team to move fast with rigor.

You will collaborate with the GC and cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and business teams to implement scalable processes and self-service playbooks in a fast-growing, hard-tech environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in legal operations or corporate paralegal work.
• Hands-on capitalization table management using Carta or Pulley.
• Experience drafting and managing NDAs and other routine commercial agreements.
• Experience with entity management across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience managing corporate insurance programs and renewals.
• Experience implementing, administering, or supporting a CMS/CLM.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's capitalization table (e.g., equity issuances, options, vesting).
• Draft, review, and manage NDAs and other routine commercial and vendor agreements.
• Own entity management and corporate housekeeping for the company and subsidiaries.
• Manage corporate insurance programs and renewals; maintain certificates and broker relations.
• Lead onboarding and administration of a contract lifecycle management system (CMS/CLM).
• Build, maintain, and iterate on legal playbooks, templates, and SOPs for scalable self-service.
• Track compliance calendars and regulatory filing deadlines (ITAR, EAR, DOE Part 810).
• Assist with board and stockholder matters (consents, resolutions, meeting materials).
• Identify opportunities to improve legal operations processes and systems.
