Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on corporate finance law, financial regulations, and relevant case law.
• Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing corporate finance documents, including term sheets, loan agreements, and disclosure documents.
• Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.
• Review and summarize legal documents and regulatory filings.
• Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports for clients and internal use.
• Manage and organize case files and transaction documentation.
• Attend internal meetings and client conferences (where appropriate) to gain exposure to legal practice.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the corporate finance team's operational needs.
• Learn and apply firm procedures and best practices in legal support.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in corporate law or finance.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
