Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, is seeking a Spring 2027 SCA Legal Intern for the OCABR. This full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week internship offers hybrid scheduling and pays $21 per hour.

The program runs from now through mid-May 2027, with in-person or virtual interviews conducted as needed. Interns will assist the general counsel with daily tasks, research legal topics, review regulations, and help with public records requests and draft decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the general counsel in daily office activities, researching relevant legal topics in consumer protection.

• Review home improvement contractor complaints and assist hearing officers in drafting decisions.
• Support with other assignments as directed.
