Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP in Atlanta seeks a Legal Intake Specialist to manage initial client information and matter openings with precision and urgency. You will coordinate with attorneys and support staff to ensure accurate data entry, order compliance, and timely follow-ups.

The role emphasizes system-minded processes, proactive problem solving, and professional client interactions. Office hours are 9am–6pm, with an emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Library Science or data management related degree preferred
• Experience with SAP-based systems or conflict/billing software is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) required
• Strong communication and customer service principles are essential

Responsibilities

• Open matters in Upfront SAP billing system according to FMG standards
• Communicate with Legal Assistants and Attorneys regarding matter openings
• Input new client information and assign matter numbers for billing
• Cross-reference insurance guidelines and adjust rates as needed
• Draft and respond to communications with potential clients
• Evaluate intake workflows for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with Conflicts and Billing teams to maintain matters
