Responsibilities

  • Teach legal classes to Basic Law Enforcement students under the Chief General Counsel.
  • Conduct legal research on issues including FOIA and evidentiary issues.
  • Prepare files for law enforcement certification misconduct hearings.
  • Assist drafting hearing officer recommendations and agency decisions.
  • Assist with appeals to the Administrative Law Court and Court of Appeals, including Record on Appeal and briefs.
  • Draft hearing notices and scheduling documents for contested hearings.
  • Perform other assignments as directed by the General Counsel.
