Under the Chief General Counsel, teaches legal classes to Basic Law Enforcement students, conducts legal research on a variety of legal matters, schedules and prepares files for law enforcement certification misconduct hearings, assists writing hearing officer recommendations, and assists with appeals to the Administrative Law Court and Court of Appeals.
Minimum requirements include:
Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Active member of the SC Bar
Must have excellent communication skills, to include legal writing and oral communication, and research skills.
