Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an Employment Counsel to partner with HR and business leaders, providing clear legal guidance on recruiting, performance, discipline, leaves, wage and hour compliance, and terminations.

This hybrid role is based in Northfield, IL, with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday; travel up to 10%. The anticipated salary range is $154,000.00 - $231,000.00 annually, with bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in a U.S. state.
• At least four years of employment law counsel experience at a law firm or corporation.
• Experience crafting legal strategy for complex matters and advising senior leaders.
• Strong judgment and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

What you’ll bring

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

This position requires up to 10% travel for business purposes, both in and out of state.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$154,000.00 - $231,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
