Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group in Arlington, VA is seeking a professional to recruit and manage expert contributors across legal practice areas and industry topics, collaborating with teams to commission, review, and publish content that supports organizational roadmaps and customer needs.

You will support outside contributors, produce digital, customer‑first content through scalable processes, and build partnerships with external organizations to create new content and marketing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of progressively responsible publishing experience across editorial, acquisitions, and/or marketing.
• Proven success in author acquisition, content publishing, marketing, and project management.
• Advanced editing and publishing skills; deep knowledge of digital content management.
• Ability to present information concisely and professionally, and to communicate, negotiate, advise, persuade, or resolve issues.
• Legal publishing experience and/or J.D. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, edit, and publish legal, regulatory, and business content with outside authors and partner organizations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with legal experts and professional organizations to enhance platform content.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate initiatives and standards in group settings.
• Develop content for digital readers, including effective headlines, source-checking, and production consistency.
• Deploy tactics to promote and market authors, organizations, and content on social platforms.
• Problem-solve and improve project management, presentation, and collaboration tools.
• Work independently, plan, organize, set priorities, and advance multiple projects.
• Make decisions interpreting policies and standards.
