Gray, Duffy, Eisenbaum & Lee, LLP seeks a dependable Legal Billing & Collections Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Woodland Hills accounting team. You will manage client billing, collections, and receivables while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years in billing or accounting, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and supportive colleagues in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, data entry, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Invoice preparation and processing - prepare, review, and issue invoices for legal services, ensuring that all billable hours and expenses are accurately recorded and categorized.
• Manage accounts receivable activities and monitor outstanding client balances.
• Conduct collection efforts and follow up on delinquent accounts in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner.
• Research and resolve billing and payment issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Generate reports and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the accounting department.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
