Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking a Billing Specialist in Chicago to manage daily deposits and e-billing submissions across multiple platforms. You will ensure invoices are uploaded for payment approval and maintain documentation with strict confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in e-billing and AR in a law firm, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office while handling a high volume of invoices monthly.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years e-billing and accounts receivable experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Experience with ebilling platforms (TyMetrix, LegalX, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to handle high invoice volumes.
• Excellent organization, confidentiality, and communication with attorneys, staff, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Submit invoices through multiple e-billing platforms.
• Process daily deposits and apply payments to appropriate invoices.
• Manage refunds for overpayments and document for cases.
• Research and maintain prepaid and WIP spreadsheets.
• Communicate invoice status with attorneys, staff and clients.
