Job summary

Fox, a high-volume law firm in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an organized administrative assistant with phone experience and excellent communication skills to support its Social Security Disability practice. Prior legal or Social Security exposure is beneficial, and the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with prior office experience.

The role is full-time, in person, with 34–40 hours per week, and offers a benefits package including dental, health, life insurance, paid time off, and vision

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred with strong office experience.
• 2 years of office experience required.
• 1 year of customer support experience required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Filing briefs in U.S. District Court
• Communicating with clients in a compassionate manner
• Communicating with the Social Security Administration, including Administrative Law Judges
• Updating medical treatment records
• Identifying potential issues with cases
• Processing correspondence
• Document merge
• Learning a specialized client database
• Assisting staff with other critical projects
