Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal assistant experience in probate, trust & estate planning.
  • Strong knowledge of probate, trust administration, and estate planning processes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Experience supporting senior attorneys or executives preferred.
  • Strong client-service and communication skills.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with NetDocs or similar document management systems preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to work independently.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and provide exceptional client service.
  • Manage attorney calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel.
  • Prepare, proofread, and finalize estate planning documents and correspondence.
  • Assist with probate filings, trust administration, estate planning binders, and client deliverables.
  • Coordinate signings, notary appointments, meetings, and other client events.
  • Track deadlines, court dates, and important matter milestones.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files using NetDocs.
  • Communicate with courts, beneficiaries, financial institutions, advisors, and other professional contacts.
  • Handle sensitive family, financial, and estate information with a high level of discretion.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and attorney support in a fast-paced environment.

  • Approximately $79,000-$96,000 annually
