Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a legal assistant/paralegal role in a law firm or legal department
• Proficiency in NYSCEF, CM/ECF, and PACER
• Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures
• Excellent organizational and deadline management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication with clients and staff

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and case support to attorneys across practice groups
• Prepare, file, and serve pleadings, motions, and other documents in NY State and federal court
• E-file via NYSCEF, PACER, CM/ECF, and bankruptcy court systems
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other court-related activities
• Assist with discovery, including tracking deadlines and organizing document productions
• Manage attorney calendars and deadlines; schedule appointments
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
• Assist with federal court attorney admissions as needed
