Responsibilities

  • Assist with case investigations and support ongoing litigation and pre-litigation matters.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Initiate and manage the opening of new legal files.
  • Complete, scan, organize, and maintain various legal documents, forms, and authorizations.
  • Obtain and track records, reports, medical documentation, videos, and other case-related materials.
  • Report claims to insurance carriers and request policy information.
  • Draft and send routine correspondence on behalf of the legal team.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical client files.
  • Request, monitor, and follow up on insurance information, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Gather and organize medical records, bills, and related case materials.
  • Process and track invoices associated with client files.
  • Communicate coverage information to medical providers when necessary.
  • Contact clients to obtain case updates and relevant information.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for paralegals and attorneys.
  • Copy, scan, upload, and organize documents for case files and settlement packages.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring documents are properly routed and filed.
  • Scan and upload correspondence and records into the firm's case management system.
  • Assist with document filing and records management.
  • Handle phone communications with clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and other parties.
  • Provide administrative and case support to paralegals and attorneys as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
