Job summary

GrayRobinson, a full-service law firm, seeks a full-time Legal Assistant in Tampa with 5+ years in commercial and securities litigation. You will assist with litigation support across multiple business sectors and must excel in Microsoft Office and e-filing in state and federal courts.

Exceptional proofreading, drafting, multitasking, and teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate will have precise time management and strong oral and written communication, with a professional work environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in diverse commercial and securities litigation matters.
• Exceptional computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Attention to detail with proofreading and drafting abilities.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and teamwork to meet deadlines.
• Effective time management and written and oral communication skills.
• Expertise in e-filing in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support across commercial and securities matters.
• Assist with drafting and proofreading legal documents and filings.
• Coordinate deadlines and multitask across cases in real estate, construction, financial regulation, corporate compliance, and securities arbitration.

GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening in our Tampa office for a full-time Legal Assistant with 5+ years of experience in diverse commercial and securities litigation matters. This may include litigation support across various business sectors, such as real estate and construction, financial regulation, corporate compliance, and securities arbitration.

Ideal candidate must have exceptional computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Position also requires keen attention to detail, including effective proofreading and drafting skills, demonstrated multitasking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with others against deadlines. Effective time management and communication skills, both written and oral, is necessary. Expertise in e-filing in state and federal courts is required.
