Responsibilities

• Manage attorney calendars and scheduling.
• Track attorney time and draft legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports.
• Draft letters, pleadings, and reports.

Requirements

The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is seeking a Legal Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in insurance defense. A strong background in scheduling is highly preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, strong follow-up abilities, and keen attention to detail
• Manage attorney calendars and scheduling, track attorney time, and draft legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports
• Must be task oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Prior experience managing attorney calendars, tracking attorney time, and drafting legal documents, including standardized letters and frameworks for pleadings and reports
• Working knowledge of Florida court procedures and familiarity with e-Service and e-Filing required
