The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance defense team. Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case strategy.
• Review medical records, claims documents, and other case materials.
• Assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and members of the litigation team.
• Manage case assignments and deadlines with guidance from experienced attorneys.
• Develop hands-on experience handling insurance defense and personal injury matters.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case strategy
• Review medical records, claims documents, and other case materials
• Assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial. Will also, handle some of these tasks.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and members of the litigation team
• Manage case assignments and deadlines with guidance from experienced attorneys
• Develop hands-on experience handling insurance defense and personal injury matters
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
