Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Strong proofreading, transcription, editing, and formatting skills.
  • Proficiency in copying, scanning, and emailing documents.
  • Typing 75 words per minute or more.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word.
  • Civil litigation experience, preferably in workers' compensation defense.
  • Experience with general liability defense, workers' compensation subrogation, or related fields preferred but not required.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Familiarity with Centerbase and NetDocs beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Pro preferred but not essential.
  • Previous work experience in a busy office environment, particularly in a legal setting, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and complete assignments promptly.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs of attorneys and clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
