Job summary

Fenwick & West is seeking a KMI Manager to drive the firm’s adoption of AI tools and workflows in partnership with attorneys. The role translates legal workflows into scalable AI solutions and deepens expertise in the firm’s AI platforms.

You will help establish governance, risk awareness, and a systematic communications/training program for AI tools, reporting to the Associate Director of Knowledge Management & Innovation. The position supports a hybrid work arrangement across U.S.

Qualifications

Law firm background or legal operations experience.
Experience translating real legal workflows into AI-enabled solutions.
Strong fluency with AI platforms and ability to collaborate with technical teams.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with senior attorneys.
Strong project management and ability to handle multiple initiatives.
Sound legal judgment and risk awareness for AI in legal work.

Responsibilities

Implement AI solutions for matters from concept to firmwide rollout.
Develop governance for AI tools and risk awareness across the firm.
Design and lead a systematic communications and training program for legal AI resources.
Collaborate with Practice Support Lawyers and Attorney Training teams.
Lead platform management and ensure AI configurations consider risk.
