Legal Administrative Assistant/Front Office Manager

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and organize a professional, user-friendly office filing system.
- Schedule meetings and conference calls, and prepare relevant materials.
- Answer telephones, screen calls, and take messages.
- Perform faxing, copying, mailing, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Conduct legal, factual, social science, and other research for litigation documents and policy presentations, utilizing internal and external databases and resources like newspapers, magazines, libraries, and trade associations.
- Support the manager in reviewing applications for intern positions.
- Collaborate with interns, providing routine and procedural guidance on projects.
- Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned.

- Monitor industry trends and suggest implementation strategies.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related administrative experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with internet research.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Initiative, independence, and strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of Access, Excel, WordPerfect is preferred.
- Ability to interpret financial data and assist in budget preparation.
- Ability to analyze and interpret policies.
- Adaptability to changing activities and handling interruptions.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Responsibility for managing activities.
- Ability to read and interpret business records and reports.
