Qualifications

Minimum one year of admin or accounting support experience (legal/personal injury experience a plus).
Strong math, proofreading and problem-solving abilities required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; legal software familiarity preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Review and cross-reference medical bills and payment ledgers with accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance for records.
Prepare and process settlement and forensic accountings on deadline.
Communicate with healthcare providers, insurers, and state agencies regularly.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing or insurance records.
Track outstanding requests and ensure timely responses; maintain professional communication.
