Job summary

Compassion International is seeking an experienced Planned Giving Officer to develop, manage, and grow a high-value donor portfolio with a focus on planned and legacy giving strategies across the Western region of the United States.

The role designs personalized engagement plans, coordinates multi-year cultivation campaigns, and works with donors and advisors to align philanthropic and estate goals with Compassion’s mission. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Seven years of fundraising or planned giving experience.
• CFRE or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a high-value donor portfolio focused on planned and legacy gifts.
• Design and execute multi-year engagement plans and campaigns.
• Collaborate with donors and advisors to align philanthropic and estate goals.
• Travel up to 50% as required to engage donors and prospects.
