Job summary

Life Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist in the Finance Department to audit individuals’ ledgers and assist the Representative Payee Manager with monthly statements and correspondence.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED), strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; Sage Intacct is preferred. This is an office-based role with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Certification in Work Incentives Planning within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review ledgers and receipts for individuals’ accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare client statements and reconcile cash counts to ledgers.
• Complete reports based on ledger findings and follow up for corrections.
• Provide professional and timely correspondence to management.
• Assist with monthly statements and correspondence for Representative Payee Manager.
• Input, access, modify, or output information using computers.
• Complete petty cash and other audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain timely communication with stakeholders.
