Are you a hands-on AV tech, LED installer, or electrical pro ready to take on large-scale display projects? Join Nanolumens as a Field Engineer, where you’ll oversee and execute the installation of cutting-edge LED display systems for world-class venues. You’ll be on the front lines bringing dynamic LED displays to life for major venues, retail brands, and corporate environments. If you’ve worked in AV, electrical installation, or signage, and thrive in a hands-on, customer-facing role with national travel—this is your opportunity.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Managers
- Evaluate site conditions and coordinate with General Contractors to resolve issues
- Lead on-site LED display installations, ensuring quality and safety
- Train subcontractors and installers on Nanolumens products and standards
Technical Execution
- Configure and test LED displays using Nanolumens software, NovaStar, or MegaPixel
- Calibrate and integrate with head-end systems and customer AV equipment working with client teams as needed
- Troubleshoot and problem solve installation challenges as they arise
Project Closeout
- Conduct final commissioning, testing, closeout reports, and sign-off
- Complete and submit project documentation (Daily reports, spare parts forms, inventory, etc.)
- Manage return of spare parts, and triage kits, and back to HQ
What You Bring
Experience
- Experience in LED, AV, electrical, or signage industries (preferred but not required) or Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience in customer-facing field service background
- Familiarity with construction job sites and GC coordination
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently under tight deadlines
- Tech-savvy: comfortable using Microsoft Office and industry-related tools
Skills
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude (low-voltage or AV wiring experience a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; software/hardware troubleshooting comfort
- Excellent communication, time management, and site documentation skills
Education
- Technical degree or certification preferred (not required)
