Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Design Engineer II to perform engineering, product design, and quality activities that support the design, manufacture, testing, installation, and ongoing support of Diamond Vision LED display products and systems.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with overseas factory teams, leading quality improvements, and maintaining engineering documents and specifications across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years in product design, quality, or related engineering role.
• Experience across full engineering lifecycle from design to manufacturing.
• Knowledge of supplier quality and FAT.
• Experience with BOMs, drawings, specifications, and CAD.
• Working knowledge of NEC and UL standards.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and support Diamond Vision LED displays.
• Collaborate with overseas factory engineering teams.
• Improve quality, reliability, and cost through design improvements.
• Lead corrective actions and QRS initiatives.
• Coordinate FAT with suppliers and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain BOMs, specs, drawings.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
