University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) College of Business is establishing a pool of Lecturers in Operations Management & Project Management. Appointments are part-time and non-tenure track, made semester by semester based on needs.

The role involves teaching Operations Management and Project Management courses, with on-campus, online, or hybrid delivery. Remuneration includes per-course pay ($4,000 for undergraduate, $4,500 for graduate 3-credit courses).

Qualifications

• A completed bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, project management or a closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years professional experience in these areas.
• OR Completed master's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, project management or a closely related field with a minimum of one-year of professional industry experience in these areas.
• A terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DBA, JD) is preferred.
• Applicants with prior and relevant teaching experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Operations Management and Project Management classes; e.g., Fundamentals of Operations Management, Managing Projects for Competitive Advantage, Project Estimation and Risk Management.
• Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration / operations management / supply chain management / project management or closely related field

Master's degree in business administration / operations management / supply chain management / project management or closely related field

Terminal degree (PhD / DBA / JD) preferred
