Job summary

University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a Lecturer to support Quantitative Methods & Business Analytics courses. The pool will be used for temporary, non-tenure track appointments teaching Operations Management and Project Management modules.

Appointments are part-time (<50% time) and reviewed per semester. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions; visas sponsorship is not provided. Candidates should reside in Colorado or relocate within two months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, business analytics, or a closely related field with 3+ years professional experience; OR Master’s degree with 1+ year professional industry experience; Terminal degree preferred; Prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students in-person and online.
• Maintains, develops and schedules student learning experiences to achieve learning outcomes.
• Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess progress toward course objectives.
• Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Canvas.
• Other duties as determined by the College of Business.
