Description of the Department or Unit

The Department of Media, Career Studies, and LeadershipDevelopment is one of five departments in the Reich College ofEducation, offering programs that prepare students foremployment in a wide variety of teaching, administrative, andservice roles, as well as employment or career advancement inbusiness and industry. The department includes Career and TechnicalEducation, Organizational Leadership & Learning, and Media,Technology and Learning Design programs. The department servesstudents at the main campus in Boone and the new Hickory campus, inaddition to AppState Online and Flight Path students.
