College of Business & Administration – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking an experienced educator to join our pool of Lecturers in International Business. Appointments are part‑time (less than 50 % time) and will be made on a semester‑by‑semester basis as courses become available.

Summary

Lecturers will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in international business and international finance. Courses may be delivered on‑campus, online, or in a hybrid format, with remote teaching opportunities available under certain conditions.

Work Location

Determined by course modality: on‑campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching may be available under certain circumstances.

Pay Range

$3,900–$5,000 for a 3‑credit‑hour course. Pay depends on the number and type of courses taught and the education level of the lecturer.

Benefits

This temporary appointment does not provide the full faculty benefit package. You are not eligible for paid vacation, medical, or retirement benefits, but you may accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours per hour worked.

Essential Functions

• Provide instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in both in‑person and online courses.
• Develop, schedule, and maintain student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Plan, develop, and implement evaluation tools to assess student progress toward course learning objectives.
• Be familiar with learning management systems such as Canvas.
• Perform other duties as determined by the College of Business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international business, marketing, or a closely related field plus at least three (3) years of professional industry experience.
• Or Master’s degree in a related field with at least one‑year of professional industry experience.
• A terminal degree (e.g., PhD, DBA, JD) is preferred.
• Experience teaching at the post‑secondary level is preferred.

Additional Information

Applicants must already be in the United States with valid work authorization. UCCS will not sponsor work visas. The university will not initiate sponsorship for those who are not currently authorized to work in the U.S.
