Pay and Time Commitment

Pay range: $3,900–$5,000 for a 3‑credit hour course. Compensation is dependent on the number of courses taught, type of course (undergraduate or graduate), and education level. Position exempt from FLSA overtime provisions. Appointment is temporary and part‑time (<50% time), semester‑by‑semester.

Location and Work Modality

Work location determined by course modality: on‑campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.

Other Employment Conditions

This appointment is exempt from standard faculty benefits. Eligible for sick leave at 0.034 hours per hour worked. No paid vacation, medical, or retirement benefits. No new visa sponsorship. Candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization, be U.S. residents or have an employment‑based visa. Preferred candidates reside in Colorado or are prepared to relocate within two months.
