Job summary

University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is building a revolving Lecturer Pool for Information Systems & Cybersecurity Management in the College of Business. Positions are part-time, non-tenure track, and reviewed each semester as needs arise.

Appointments may be on-campus, online, or hybrid, with potential remote teaching under certain conditions. The pool supports undergraduate and graduate teaching in information systems and cybersecurity topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, cybersecurity management, information security, computer science or related field with 3 years professional experience.
• Master's degree in related field with 1 year professional experience; terminal degree preferred.
• A terminal degree (PhD/DBA/JD) is preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students, in-person and online.
• Maintains and schedules learning experiences to meet outcomes.
• Develops evaluation tools to assess progress toward objectives.
• Be familiar with Canvas LMS and other learning tools.
• Other duties as assigned by the College of Business.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, cybersecurity management, information security, computer science or related field

Master's degree in business administration, information systems, cybersecurity management, information security, computer science or related field

Terminal degree preferred

Prior teaching experience preferred
