The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Biological Systems Engineering and demonstrate excellence or potential in teaching, with a commitment to inclusive undergraduate education and ongoing innovation in biological systems research.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering. Exceptions may be made for exceptional candidates with strong and relevant experience in both practice and teaching.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation and research in biological systems
• Evidence of teaching excellence or potential for excellence, and a commitment to inclusive and quality undergraduate education.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation and research in biological systems

Responsibilities

• Teach Design & Analysis of Engineering Experiments (EBS 265, 5 units) in Winter Quarter 2027.
• Course taught in person on the UC Davis campus in Davis, CA.
• Course meets in person three times a week with a lab component.
• Select lecturer must teach experimental design and statistical treatment of engineering data for biological systems.
