Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering. Exceptions may be made for exceptional candidates with strong and relevant experience in both practice and teaching.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation and research in biological systems.
• PhD in Biological Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with quantitative and statistical methods in biological and agricultural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design & Analysis of Engineering Experiments (EBS 265, 5 units) in the Winter Quarter 2027.
• The lecturer will be selected based on professional and academic expertise and must be able to teach the principles and practices of experimental design and statistical treatment of engineering research data as applied to biological systems.
