The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) College of Education seeks lecturers to teach in the Counseling and Human Services program. Appointments are part-time, semester-by-semester, and may include graduate and/or undergraduate courses meeting CACREP and CSHS standards. Classes are primarily on-campus with some hybrid/remote formats.

Generally starting at $3,900 per 3-credit hour course; $1,300 per credit hour. Courses with low enrollment (less than 12 students) may be canceled. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.
Determined by course modality. Generally on campus, in person. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.

The College of Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in the Counseling and Human Services program from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester. This position will teach graduate and/or undergraduate Counseling and Human Services classes. Graduate classes align with CACREP standards and accreditation. Undergraduate courses are designed to meet the standards outlined by the Council for Standards in Human Services. Classes primarily meet in-person on-campus and also may be offered in hybrid, weekend intensive, and other formats.

Because this appointment is temporary in nature, you will not be eligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided to faculty under the standard University of Colorado benefits programs. You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave, medical, or retirement benefits. However, you are eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
