The University Lecturer role at NJIT’s School of Applied Engineering & Technology focuses on teaching primarily undergraduate CIM courses within the Built Environment Division. The candidate will develop curriculum and experiential Learning opportunities in the NJIT Makerspace, collaborating with colleagues and the Chair to implement new teaching approaches.

Ideal candidates hold an M.S. in Engineering or related field with strong industrial experience and have at least two years of higher

Qualifications

• M.S. in Engineering or related field with strong industrial experience.
• At least two years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Industrial experience, professional engineering licensure (PE) preferred, and a Ph.D. in Engineering or related field.

Responsabilités

• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students.
• Participate in course, program, and experiential learning development as required along with the formal assessment of student performance.
• Participate in student events and external outreach activities as required.
• Participate in program accreditation activities.
• Participate in constituent meetings with the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB).
