Position Description
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions
The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a full-time Lecturer of Computer Science ( NTT ), to start in January 2025. This is a teaching-focused position, with an expectation of seven courses per year. Successful candidates must be prepared to teach introductory programming and data structures courses. The ability to teach other lower-division courses, such as discrete math or digital design, is desirable as well as upper-division and graduate-level courses in support of our MS in Computer Science Program.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a potentially renewable one-year contract. This is a non-tenure track position, with no expectations for research, scholarship, or advising. This position is located at Pacific’s Stockton campus in the California Central Valley.

Hiring Range
Hiring Range $75,000- $80,000 (We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.)
