What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Administer and coordinate all leave of absence and worker's compensation programs for employees
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and record-keeping of all processes and events
  • Evaluate and identify improvement opportunities to enhance workers' compensation and leave of absence programs
  • Provide guidance on FMLA, ADA, and related regulations to employees and management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of leave policies

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, or leave coordination
  • Knowledge and understanding of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation laws, and leave-related regulations
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee (applies to nursing candidates only)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with workplace safety programs
  • Case Management Certification
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine or similar clinic functions
  • Litigation management background
  • Knowledge of insurance claims processing and case management
