Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Risk Mgmt, Business Admin or related field required.
• PHR/SHRM-CP/CLMS/WCCA certifications preferred.
• 6 years HR experience administering LOA, workers' comp, disability, and accommodations; 3+ in management.
• Knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, workers' comp laws.
• Experience with HRIS and leave/claims systems (ADP) required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lead, mentor, coach, and develop staff; promote engagement.
• Advanced knowledge of leave administration and compliance; mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Administers leave of absence, workers' compensation, disability, and accommodation programs; oversees operations.
• Leads and develops assigned staff; manages performance, scheduling, and recruitment activities.
• Serves as escalation point for complex leave and claims matters with guidance to leaders and HR.
• Develops and monitors procedures, workflows, and service standards for compliance and efficiency.
• Plans workloads and resources to ensure timely administration of claims and accommodations.
• Conducts audits and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Partners with HR leadership on policies, budgets, and strategic priorities.
• Delivers training and resources to managers and employees on leave and disability programs.
