Job summary

San Francisco Bay Coffee is seeking a Leave Administration Analyst to manage workers' compensation claims and absence processes within the HR team in Lincoln, CA. This role ensures legal compliance and provides compassionate support to employees during recovery and leave.

You will coordinate with supervisors, insurers, and medical professionals, maintain confidential records, and facilitate timely return-to-work planning while upholding data integrity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
• EHS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer workers' compensation claims from start to finish, including reporting and follow-up with employees and supervisors.
• Handle the FMLA/CFRA leave process from notice to return, including paperwork and eligibility.
• Advise managers on interaction of leave laws with PTO, workers' comp, and disability benefits.
• Oversee return-to-work processes after extended leaves or injuries.
• Maintain confidential, accurate leave and accommodation records in compliance with laws.
