Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Leave of Absence (LOA) & Workers' Compensation (WC) Administrator to support employees' leave and injury claims. You will manage case intake, eligibility, vendor interactions, and communications for FMLA, ADA, parental, military leaves, and WC claims.

Responsibilities include eligibility verification, case coordination, return-to-work planning, documentation, and audits. The role emphasizes confidentiality, data accuracy, and collaboration with HRBPs and carriers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in an HR role, with a focus in LOA/WC administration.
• Thorough understanding of FMLA, ADA, State & Local and basic workers’ compensation concepts.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality (HIPAA/PHI awareness).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required.
• Must have the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar HR software and practices.

Responsibilities

• LOA Eligibility: Verify eligibility for FMLA/State and company-sponsored leaves; track benefit rules.
• Case Management: Monitor leave timelines and coordinate with payroll and benefits.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to leave laws; maintain audit-ready records.
• Case Intake & Reporting: Document injury details and report to carrier.
• Case Coordination: Liaise among employees, HRBPs, supervisors, EH&S, and carrier.
• Return-to-Work & Light Duty: Coordinate restrictions and transitional duties with HRBPs.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain confidential case files and training on WC and new legislation.
• Systems & Data: Maintain case data in HRIS; run monthly dashboards.
• Policy & Process: Maintain SOPs; identify ways to reduce cycle times.
• Other Responsibilities: Make decisions on benefit plan interpretations; seek improvements.
