Leave Program & Timekeeping Coordinator (AGPA)

The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) is recruiting for one Permanent, Full‑time Associate Governmental Program Analyst position within the Human Resources Office, Transactions Unit. The incumbent’s primary duties include independently analyzing and determining employee eligibility for various leave programs and managing the DFPI Timekeeping database.

Location: Sacramento office (In Office)
Salary Range: $6,031.00 – $7,775.00

Job Description and Duties
  • Analyze and determine employee eligibility for leave programs such as Industrial Disability Leave, Temporary Disability Leave, Family Care Leave, State Disability Insurance, Paid Family Leave, Emergency Paid Leave, Emergency Family Medical, Supplemental Pay Leave.
  • Manage the DFPI Timekeeping database.
  • Perform related administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Graduation from college (or equivalent). Graduate work in public or business administration, industrial relations, psychology, law, political science, or a related field may substitute for six months of required non‑supervisory experience.
  • Experience:
    • Option I: One year performing duties of a Staff Services Analyst, Range C.
    • Option II: Three years of professional analytical experience in budgeting, management analysis, personnel, planning, program evaluation, or policy analysis; or a combination of those areas.
  • Promotional candidates within six months of meeting experience requirements will be admitted to the examination, provided they fully satisfy the experience requirement before appointment.
