The Leave Management Analyst primarily investigates claims to determine if the insured person qualifies for benefits and works with them on a plan to return to work as soon as responsibly possible. The Leave Management Analyst supports our mission of helping our customers rebuild their lives after an unexpected event or illness happens while following corporate claim standards, policies and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements.

WORK ARRANGEMENTS

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford, CT, San Antonio, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Sunrise, FL, Scottsdale, AZ, Alpharetta, GA, and Naperville, IL) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

POSITION DETAILS

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Training Hours: Monday through Friday

8:00 – 4:30 ET

8:00 – 4:30 CT

8:00 – 4:30 MT

7:00 – 3:30 PT

Length of Training: 4 Weeks — (No time off during training)

Work Hours After Training: Monday-Friday; core business hours with flexible start and end times

RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short‑term or annual bonuses, long‑term incentives, and on‑the‑spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$52,000 – $69,333

The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
